What Options do You Have at the End of a Car Lease?

Your main three options when your lease terms come to an end on your vehicle are pretty stark. You can elect to purchase the vehicle if you like it as you will have the first right of refusal to purchase it at the residual value. If you choose to pass that up you can make another vehicle lease happen.

Another option that some people decide to go with is to give up on the lease that they already have outstanding because it is no longer serving their needs as they had hoped. That may seem dramatic in a sense, but a lot of people are simply not that happy with whichever lease they started once they are several years into it. They can choose to pay the mileage and wear and tear on the vehicle at that point. Still, it is worth it to some people who just don’t like the vehicle that they are in.
